Director of Residential and Community Supports - Western Massachusetts Training Consortium - Holyoke, MA

Are you an innovative leader who has residential management experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities? The Consortium (www.wmtcinfo.org) is well respected for its progressive and community-centered approach in supporting adults to share their gifts and realize their dreams. Home & Community Connections’ Director of Residential and Community Supports will work with a committed, diverse team supporting over 60 adults with developmental disabilities and/or autism. Seeking a leader with 5 or more years of management experience, familiar with Department of Developmental Services funded programs including 24-hour residential supports, community-based support, autism supports and self-advocacy. Commitment to a values-based approach essential.

Responsibilities include: Providing program-wide strategic direction and oversight; development of support models; budget responsibility; staff training, supervision and development; nursing and clinical Support; quality assurance; participation in agency senior management; contract management with funder; and communications with key stakeholders and community resources.

Education & experience requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in related field required. Relevant Master’s Degree preferred. Professional experience may be substituted for educational requirement. Minimum of five years relevant experience: supervisory, management, MR/DD, residential services experience preferred.
