Direct Service II/Community Inclusion Specialist position available in Adult Services Division Peabody Program. Responsibilities include providing direct service to individuals on a daily basis in all areas of day habilitation and vocational curricula areas. Individuals all have Level I or Level II behavior plans which require consistent implementation, data collection and coordination with Manager/Behavior Consultant when revisions or re-trainings are needed. In addition as a Direct Service Specialist II, you will provide leadership and decision making in the room relative to lunch/break schedules, work assignments and other divisions of responsibilities. Indirect time may include: implement and regularly update person centered planning process, that identify an individual's preferences and interest, plan/provide CBDS activities around individual's interest and employment goals, collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop CBDS goals, build networks and relationships in the community, drive or take public transportation to maximize time in the community and minimize time on-site.
Candidate must have good organizational, writing and leadership skills. Also must be Safety Care trained and have a valid driver’s license.
