Regional Director - Kennedy-Donovan Center - Milford, MA

As a member of the agency’s management team, the Regional Director will provide leadership, supervision, and daily management of all assigned programs utilizing a team-based, multi-disciplinary approach in accordance with the Kennedy Donovan Center (“KDC”) philosophy, mission and vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development, supervision, and management of all services and supports provided in the Supervised Living, Supported Living (group home), Individual Supports, Family Support, Shared Living, and Adult Family Care Programs, Residential and Grant Programs
  • Responsible for programmatic growth and start-up activities in accordance with KDC’s strategic plan
  • Promote and implement funding source and KDC’s vision of home and home life
  • Maintain program compliance with all applicable state funding agencies and certification regulations and requirements, as well as quality service standards
  • Oversee personnel activities, including hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of program employees and consultants through supervisory staff with Human Resources
  • Manage and promote on-going collaborative relationships with funding sources and community service providers
  • Coordinate efforts related to state and federal licensing and certifications as required
  • Complete all required program reports, maintain statistical information and data, and monitor program budgets on a monthly basis
  • Coordinate and participate in community outreach, fundraising, and education activities on behalf of KDC

Required Skills:

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including on-call coverage
  • Must have the ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals in English
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, program development experience
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, administrative and managerial and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills with a proven history of good judgment
  • Must be self-directed, able to set priorities and work without direct supervision

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Human Services related field or equivalent experience required, Masters Degree preferred
  • 5 years experience with adults with developmental disabilities and their families
  • 5-7 years proven administrative and/or supervisory experience
