- A bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field
- Five years’ managerial and supervisor experience in human resources management.
- Advanced knowledge of human resource functions including employee relations, recruitment, learning and development
- Advanced knowledge of applicable rules and regulations
- Knowledge of industry best practices
- Ability to negotiate and mediate conflict; liaison with agency labor counsel
- Ability to identify, organize and allocate resources.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner
- Willingness to perform other duties as required
- Preferred: SPHR designation

- Supervision – supervises one full-time Administrative Assistant; the AA works with and supports all departments in the Northampton office as well as statewide offices
The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities. This position is based in Northampton, MA; Nonotuck has offices statewide and travel to these offices is an essential part of the job.
