Lifeworks, Inc. is seeking a dynamic, hands-on, creative and engaging leader to be our Vice President of Employment & Day Services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Vice President (VP) of Employment & Day Services is responsible for the overall management and administration of both Lifeworks Employment Service (LES) programs located in Boston & Norwood, and Community Based Day Supports (CBDS), including transportation.

The VP of Employment & Day Services will ensure the effective delivery of services including the planning for the strategic needs of the program as well as ensuring that the operations of each program site meets the mission, goals and outcomes of the agency.

The VP of Employment & Day Services will supervise and develop Employment/Day Services Directors at all locations and the Director of Transportation; evaluate job performance, establish objectives for performance enhancement, and provide opportunities for professional advancement.

The VP of Employment & Day Services will take an active role in ensuring all programing continues to meet the needs of our individuals and the high standards of our accreditation agencies, and will take appropriate measures to adjust/change programing as needed with the guidance and support of all management, including the COO, whom is the direct supervisor of the VP of Employment and Day Services position.

The VP of Employment & Day Services must have the ability to prepare program budget and contracts under the supervision of the COO, review program expenses on a regular basis, make recommendations for necessary repairs, facility improvements and equipment purchases.

The VP of Employment & Day Services will ensure the regular and accurate collection of data for purposes of program outcome measurement systems, including the completion of a system to measure individual satisfaction at each assigned program, make suggestions and changes to goals as necessary and collaborate with our Director of Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with all state and federal program standards, accreditations and state licensure.

QUALIFICATIONS

The VP of Employment & Day Services must have excellent leadership skills. Proven ability to communicate effectively with a large team, both at the program and management team level.Strong computer skills are required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

The VP of Employment & Day Services must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university plus 10 years’ experience, with five of those years in a leadership role. Master’s Degree preferred.
