Conference 2018 tagline is "Inclusive Communities,” symbolizing a commitment to fight for active participation in and acceptance of everyone in their communities regardless of age, (dis)ability, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, and any other protected status. It is intended to represent acceptance of diversity across all populations and full, meaningful integration of everyone into their communities.

The conference will provide a space for professionals and advocates in the intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) community opportunities to hear the latest ideas, trends, practices, and policies impacting services; engage in discussions to generate new solutions; and network.

We're excited to welcome Mario Arnauz Bonds to the stage as this year's keynote speaker! Mario is a singer/song writer and author with a dynamic presence. A cast member from the 2012 run of the Oxygen Network's The Glee Project, Mario has inspired many. Mario's riveting personal story includes going totally blind at age 10, abuse, abandonment, poverty, homelessness and many other unthinkable curve balls. He found the drive to motivate himself, to persevere, and make the right choices and ultimately reach success. It is anticipated that his speech will be unforgettable, moving, and powerful. Deadline to request an interpreter is Wednesday, March 21st.

Please note: we will not accept breakout session choices during registration. Attendees can choose which breakout session they would like to attend which gives participants the freedom to change their mind the day of the event if necessary.

Exhibitor Bingo

Attendees will need to fill out required squares by visiting exhibitors the day of the conference to receive initials of exhibit booth staff. Participants who submit a completed bingo card will have a chance in a random drawing to win a Polaroid camera (with film and case), sponsored by Foothold Technology!
