Training

Overview

We have all encountered both inspiring and challenging relationships with co-workers, business associates and other parties with whom we need to work. Through a self-discovery process, gain a better understanding of emotional and physical forces you may be experiencing. Develop personal strategies that minimize stress, promote productive workplace outcomes and enhance workplace satisfaction through emphasis on effective communication, relationship building and resolving conflict considering intergenerational and cultural differences.

Purpose/Background

In order to achieve the greatest possible outcomes for our clients, team members must be able to communicate and handle daily conflicts with one another. Our clients are inspired and energized by the tremendous efforts of the staff that work with them. Staff/team members are the greatest assets of any human service organization. It is critically important for all team members to understand that their efforts are valued and appreciated, not only by the clients, but from all members of the team. Through listening and speaking honestly and respectfully with the sole intent of providing meaningful, mission-based services, team members make all the difference. Valuing and appreciating the backgrounds, experience, generational assets, strengths, cultural differences and perspectives of each other makes for a vibrant team leading to the best possible outcomes for all involved.
