DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER THIS WEEK, THIS EVENT IS NOW VIRTUAL!!!
JOIN US FOR OUR LEGISLATIVE BUDGET FORUM!
The ADDP Annual Legislative Budget Forum is an opportunity for legislators to connect with constituent community-based service providers and staff, including direct support professionals. This engagement allows for a more comprehensive understanding of the needs and concerns within the developmental disability community, enabling legislators to make informed decisions about budget allocations and policy improvements. By fostering collaboration and dialogue among these stakeholders, the Forum aims to contribute solutions to sustaining the care infrastructure in Massachusetts, ultimately benefiting individuals with disabilities and their families.
Join us as we honor ADDP's Senator of the Year, Senator John C. Velis, Chairperson, Joint Committee on Mental Health, Substance Use and Recovery; Chairperson, Joint Committee on Veterans and Federal Affairs. We will also be joined by Representative Jay D. Livingstone, Chairperson, Joint Committee on Children, Families & Persons with Disabilities Committees.
ADDP is still finalizing the content/agenda for the event. We will update with further details very soon.
The event will take place ONLINE from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Note: ASL interpreting services for the deaf and hard of hearing will be available for this event as will close captioning via Zoom. For those needing additional accomodations, please contact Jenn Reale at jennreale@addp.org
