CREATING NEW REVENUE STREAMS
THROUGH ENTREPRENEURIAL BUSINESS VENTURES

ADDP will host a training focused on the creation of mission-related, entrepreneurial business ventures that are financially self-sustaining to nonprofit providers in the field of developmental disabilities.

Why Attend?

More than ever, I/DD providers are tasked with expanding programs to vulnerable populations with less government financial support and increased regulatory oversight. This presentation will cover the different components and processes involved with getting a thorough proposal before a board of directors, and will include examples of innovative products from other nonprofit organizations that have used a similar process.

Learning Goals & Objectives:

  • Be inspired with creative examples of how other nonprofit organizations have utilized for-profit business to achieve their mission and fund their organization, either through creating employment opportunities or offering new lines of business.
  • Be equipped with a practitioners guide to establishing a team to brainstorm, develop, and launch a new mission-supporting business.
  • Learn the necessary parts of a successful business plan and how to bring that proposal to their board of directors.
