Cloud Systems Administrator - Advocates - Framingham

Overview

The Cloud Systems Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day management and support of our cloud infrastructure, primarily in the Microsoft Office 365 ecosystem. This primarily includes the management of Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, and Azure Active Directory, as well as any related technologies such as Azure Active Directory Sync, and Azure Cloud Application Proxy.

Responsibilities

Implement projects relating to the various cloud infrastructures, including further roll-out of Microsoft Teams within the organization, migrating user home directories to OneDrive, and implementing new sites within SharePoint.

Ensure the operational health of MS Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and other services within the cloud infrastructure, including security, availability, performance, interoperability and reliability.

Conduct routine monitoring and analysis to include Audit Log Reports evaluation, system and storage utilization reports, site and system usage, growth reports, and manage site collection quota settings.

Collaborate with internal customers, internal support teams, and external support and Value-Added Reseller (VAR) providers.

Serve as a backup to the Network Administrator in supporting on premises servers, network equipment, operating systems, and applications. These include HPE servers, Cisco/Meraki networking equipment, and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.

Qualifications

Thorough understanding of network technologies such as IPv4/6, routing/switching, VPN, and LAN/WAN operations.

3+ years of experience with managing Microsoft Office 365 technology, focused primarily on SharePoint online, Exchange Online, Teams, and Intune.

3+ years of experience with administering recent versions of Microsoft Windows Server, to include Active Directory and related functions.

Experience managing SaaS technologies such as Barracuda, Smartsheet.

Familiarity with both on-premise and cloud-based virtualization technologies.

Self-motivated and able to work independently with only moderate supervision.
