Employment Program Manager - Community Connections Inc. - South Yarmouth, MA

Community Connections Inc. is looking for an Employment Manager to join our Employment Services team based in South Yarmouth, MA. In this role you will support individuals with disabilities by managing the daily and on-going operation of all facets of both the Employment Services and Pre Employment Transition Services under their authority. The Manager communicates with the Director of Program Administration regularly regarding all areas of program operations. You will partner with staff and Service Directors to aid Community Connections in their mission to provide optimal independence and enriching services to people with disabilities. We are looking for someone with a commitment to advocacy, leadership, and serving the community.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee the daily operation of Employment Services and Pre Employment Transition Services
  • Oversee the program safety and health program
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, promote, transfer, discipline and terminate employees according to CCI policies and procedures
  • Solicit, utilize, and document consumer input
  • Monitor and supervise all CCI administrative duties relating to the service
  • Maintain effective communication with employees, administrative team members and Service Director
  • Be responsible for overall development and implementation of service design
  • Work with Service Director to develop and utilize the Employment Services Program Evaluation Measures
  • Provide direct services, as needed, to assist with staff vacations, scheduling conflicts, and staff shortages
  • Other relevant duties as assigned

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Human Services field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Supported Employment Services, with at least 1 year of Case Management or supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with individuals with disabilities
  • Master's degree in relevant human services field may be substituted for some experience
  • Valid driver's license, access to a motor vehicle, and satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and apply commonsense understanding to draw valid conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision yet work as a member of a team and consult with and advise others appropriately.
  • Strong computer and word processing skills
