Family Support Outreach Manager - Vinfen - West Roxbury, MA

As a Family Support Outreach Manager, you will be responsible for the overall administration and clinical operation of the program, including all activities related to the daily operations of a family support center setting. Responsible for ISPs, quality and safety standards, supervision of outreach, and contact with persons served and families. Provide leadership to staff and ensure support to enhance independence, self-advocacy, and promotes choices that contribute to living a good and meaningful life. Promote safe, secure, and clean environments. Assist individuals in becoming full participants in their communities, develop and maintain friendships, and strengthen family engagement and partnerships.

A Family Support Outreach Manager has a range of duties including:

  • Directs and manages the activities of the program staff. This includes involvement in the hiring, scheduling, training, and evaluating staff. Conducts regular staff meetings. Ensures staff is trained on all necessary plans, procedures, and practices.
  • Provides extended navigation services, such as attending medical appointments, assisting with paperwork, planning, organizing, and attending social and recreational gatherings.
  • Develops Family Expenditure Plans and coordinates services identified within each plan.
  • Develops Family Support Plan with Extended Navigation participants and assists in developing and meeting goals within that plan.
  • Ensures compliance with all internal quality and external licensing as well as program specific policies and procedures

Vaccine Mandate Policy

In accordance with federal mandates, all new employees, interns, and volunteers within Vinfen's Massachusetts programs will be required to be fully vaccinated (14 days beyond last shot of Pfizer or Moderna or 14 days beyond receiving a Johnson and Johnson vaccine), or have received the first shot in a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) with an appointment scheduled for the second dose. A 2nd dose must be received within six weeks of hire and the first shot prior to New Employee Orientation or have an approved exemption for medical or religious reasons by the first day of employment with Vinfen.
