GENERAL SUMMARY
- The Floor Care Specialist performs duties in Military settings to ensure proper Contract regulations.
- This includes floor finish removing, floor finish applying, burnishing, and buffing tile floors.
- Responsibilities will consist of regular maintenance and periodic major floor service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform daily /monthly/ semi -annual and annual floor service as scheduled.
- Training people with Developmental Disabilities in certain areas of floor work.
- Ensure safety rules are followed.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES-DESIRED
- Prior work with people with Developmental Disabilities is valuable.
- Basic knowledge of floor work.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Valid MA driver’s license.
- General ability and experience with high-speed floor machines.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 Lb.
- Must successfully pass the Federal Cori check
- All Federal Contract employees are evaluated after 90 days
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONABILITIES
- Perform additional duties when assigned if floor work is slow.
JOB SPECIFICS
- 20 hours per week
- Starts at $23.03
- Schedule: can be flexible and negotiable. Some periodic work has to be done on Saturdays
