SHARED LIVING Home Provider
Have you ever considered inviting a person with a disability to share your home? Have you ever thought about what a difference sharing your home could make in someone's life? In your own life?
The Arc of Opportunity is looking for caring people who are able to open their homes and hearts to someone in need in the Fitchburg/Leominster area.
As a Shared Living Home Provider, you and your family will share your life and your home, providing both care and support for individuals with various disabilities. You will partner with the individual being supported and assist with activities of daily living, including personal care (if needed), scheduling and organization, transportation, doctor visits and medications, and recreational activities.
A monthly stipend is provided for each Shared Living situation, along with case management and nursing oversight.
Required Qualifications:
Be a responsible person who is at least 18 years old
Have the time to devote to in home work
Valid driver's license
CPR/FA Certification or ability or obtain
Ability to pass a CORI/Background check
