Training Specialist - Vinfen - Somerville, MA

We are seeking an experienced Training Specialist to assist with the development and delivery of training programs and courses. The Training Specialist will also assist the Director of Training and Senior Training Specialist in reviewing and revising courses to assure that content is current, reflects Vinfen's mission and values and is consistent with best practices in Instructional Design. The Training Specialist provides support to required data entry systems, evaluation processes, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

The focus of this position will be to lead Safety Care training and recertification classes for our growing team of human services professionals. In addition the Training Specialist will also be responsible for Safety Care database management and conducting system trainings (Electronic Health Record Systems).

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 am to 5 pm. This position will have a split of in-person and remote working capabilities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in Education or Human Services
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Services or related field required, a Master's degree strongly preferred.
  • Prior Safety Care experience / knowledge necessary. Willingness to become a Safety Care Training required.
  • Experience with E-Learning and/or Instructional Design strongly preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel to satilite locations.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills
  • Must be a least 21 years of age and be able to pass a CORI check, background check and reference check.
