Manages Transportation Department Staff and acts as a liaison between department personnel and the Director of Transportation. Performs payroll duties and other reporting functions by the direction of the Director of Transportation. Together with the Director of Transportation and the Transportation Assistant, performs the upkeep of vehicle maintenance and other departmental records in order to ensure safe and efficient fleet operations.
High school diploma required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Prior staff management, fleet operation, and route scheduling experience preferred. At least three years’ prior experience providing transportation services for individuals with disabilities preferred. Valid driver’s license in the state of Massachusetts and proof of an excellent driving record for the past 5 years.
