Founded in 1954, Berkshire County Arc (BCArc) is a human services organization. BCArc offers a broad range of community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities, brain injuries and autism throughout Berkshire and Hampden Counties in Massachusetts.

BCArc serves more than 1,000 individuals annually.

The Vice President of Residential Services is responsible for overseeing the management of the Residential and Shared Living Programs through the daily implementation of policies and procedures, supervision of staff, maintaining budgets, evaluation of services and review for quality assurance.

The position directly supervises: Director of Residential and Director of Brain Injury. The Vice President is also responsible for the Maintenance department through the direct supervision of the Director of Residential Services.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards for participant care.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in human services field or a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five years supervisory experience managing programs for people with developmental disabilities.

Excellent oral and written communication as well as organizational & computer skills required.
